Compassionate In-Home Pickup and Transportation for Grieving Families
Angel Wings 4 Pets provides in-home pet aftercare, the service that most veterinary clinics and crematories aren’t equipped to offer. We come to the place where your pet spent their life — so your family doesn’t have to face the painful logistics of transporting them yourselves — and we carry your pet with care to one of two destinations of your choosing:
- Our trusted cremation facility, where your pet is honored with the full Angel Wings 4 Pets experience, including personalized ashes return and memorial keepsake options.
- Your pet’s regular veterinary clinic (rDVM), if you prefer your pet to be cared for through your existing veterinary relationship.
We work alongside your trusted veterinary team — extending their care into your home during the moments they cannot be there themselves. We are also the dedicated aftercare partner of A Pet’s Farewell, ensuring that the same in-home compassion that begins with peaceful euthanasia continues seamlessly through every step that follows.
Transportation Fees - (With or Without Aftercare)
- Pet Transport rDVM: $150 (Without *Aftercare - Transport ONLY to your veterinarian.)
- Pet Transport Plus: $100 (With *Aftercare)

Important Information About Handling Deceased Pets
The State of California Penal Code § 374d makes it a misdemeanor to place or allow a dead animal carcass to remain within 100 feet of a street, alley, highway, or road in common use. So even where local law may allow burial on private property, that state restriction still applies.
Orange County and others within CA have specific regulations governing the handling of deceased pets to ensure health, safety, and environmental protection. Please review the following guidelines before making aftercare arrangements:
- Do Not Dispose of Remains in Household Trash or Green Waste: It is illegal to place a deceased pet (whole or cremated) in curbside waste or recycling bins.
- No Burial on Public Land or Parks: Pets may not be buried on public property, beaches, parks, or open spaces.
- Private Burial on Your Own Property: See Local Pet Burial Regulations below.
- Professional Cremation or Disposal Required: When private burial isn’t appropriate or allowed, remains must be handled through a licensed animal cremation or disposal facility.
